Initially established on the basis of an AMAP project, the organisation became a local intermediary for Action Consommation and a member of Amis de la Confédération Paysanne in 2006. It contributed to the establishment of a horticulturist by opening a second Amap in 2007. The organisation is developing a popular education scheme by organising activities, screenings in neighbourhoods, by dealing with food and environmental issues, North-South relationships, and by promoting fair-trade networks in farming environments. It moreover developed a “buying group” for organic and/or fair-trade products and also initiated an inter-organisation collective garden project.
We provided funding within the framework of a part-time job creation on a CAE contract (employment support contract).
