The Foundation’s annual accounts

The Humane Earth Foundation’s accounting year starts on 1 October and ends on 30 September of each calendar year. The latest annual accounts are those as at 30 September 2011. They have been audited by the Fiducom.

Those accounts show that the annual amount of paid grants is 349’112 CHF, and that the annual amount of new decided grants is 403’230 CHF, more or less the same amounts as the previous year ones.

Management cost ratios

As at 30 September 2011, the ratio (bank charges + administrative costs / donations made) stood at 20 %.

For the 2010-2011 period:

• The smallest donation for a project was CHF 1’136
• The biggest donation for a project was CHF 23’600
• The average donation per project was CHF 8’579
